OK so new tank has been filled a week its had the contents of the 2 other tanks filters (fish shit!) stuck in it as well as a couple of gallons of water out of the old tanks in there too.  I also went round to a friend and stole a bucket full of her fish poop too.

So the cycle should be well on the way by now and the waters upto temperature etc.

This weekend I’ll be ordering a load of plants and some bog wood over the next week i’ll be getting the plants in and setup some fertalizer in there too and i’ll kick start the cycle even more with some bacteria in a bottle.

I’ll give it a week fully running with plants in and then start the water testing checking for when its ready.

Hopefully it’ll all be ready for my birthday so I can start putting new fish in!
